I didn’t mean to buy the L plate, I kept it because I really loved the mechanism to remove the plate and access the battery quickly. The plate thread on the x100 is the most insane design on an otherwise perfect camera, and this plate design with the integrated tool was a great way to use the peak design capture clip, and be able to easily remove the plate to get to the battery and memory card. So I used it lightly even though it was wrong shape. It’s been sitting in a drawer for the last month and now that PD has this easy resale system; I thought I’d try it and then buy the I plate version.

I purchased this for use with a Ricoh GRIII and I tried it a few times and it just doesn't work for that camera and my hands the way I had hoped. It's nicely made and I'm hoping that the next owner can give it more exposure to sunshine and photography or something like that.
